This news that Harry and Meghan are going to make programmes for Netflix makes me think I should join up. I've always made do with iPlayer until now but I hear they'll be making programmes about social justice, environmental sustainability and family values. I can't think of anyone I'd rather learn about these issues from. They will be very authentic, I'm sure.

Also, they obviously have a strong background in TV production and documentary film making so you know it will be quality output.

Anyone else excited about these upcoming shows? Anything in particular you are looking forward to seeing or hoping will be featured?

A programme about keeping out of the public eye? I'd watch that.

BlackLetterDay · 03/09/2020 20:40

Have you gone mental?

ColleagueFromMars · 03/09/2020 20:41

🤣

AfterSchoolWorry · 03/09/2020 20:44

🙈

Oh God, it's 'it's a knockout' all over again.

wildcherries · 03/09/2020 20:44

I appreciate the sarcasm.

really hope it's sarcasm

Oysterbabe · 03/09/2020 20:44

Netflix is great but not because of those 2.
I've been watching Cobra Kai and had a huge grin on my face the whole time. It's amazing.

NerrSnerr · 03/09/2020 20:46

Maybe they'll do a documentary on why people on popular parenting sites are so obsessed with them?

PinkiOcelot · 03/09/2020 20:47

I think I’ll cancel my subscription.

I’d rather watch Mrs Browns Boys...

WickedEmoji · 03/09/2020 20:49

Your post literally sounds like an ad!

Palavah · 03/09/2020 20:49

They're doing some 'scripted' shows as well so I'm looking forward to 'The Only Way is Sussex'

Kinneddar · 03/09/2020 20:51

I'm cancelling mine. Ive been thinking about it but the ridiculous deal they've got has made my mind up

PrincessZog · 03/09/2020 20:52

😂😂😂

PontiacBandit · 03/09/2020 20:54

I periodically subscribe for a few months, binge watch loads and then unsubscribe.

Justmuddlingalong · 03/09/2020 20:57

I'm about to have a bath and cut my toenails. There's only so much excitement I can cope with, so I'll leave any future Netflix loving to you OP. Enjoy.

Hiccupiscal · 04/09/2020 08:55

Ahhh op, thanks for the second laugh of the day.

First one was the Netflix news as I read the online newspapers today.
Second was your post, clearly written by someone deluded ......trying to advertise the Netflix deal.
Why anyone would watch is beyond me.

MoggyP · 04/09/2020 08:58

I like to watch trashy stuff and box sets on Netflix.

I don't really go there for uplifting documentaries.

I wonder how the children's output will compare to Budgie the Helicopter?

RozHuntleysStump · 04/09/2020 08:59

lolz. It made me consider cancelling mine but there's too much actual entertaining stuff on there for that.

I'm enjoying watching their antics. It will all come crashing down at some point.

BigBadVoodooHat · 04/09/2020 09:01

Your post literally sounds like an ad!

No, it literally sounds like a piss-take. Because it is.

EvilPea · 04/09/2020 09:03

Presumably they will be paying back frogmore in the lump sum now?

Lockheart · 04/09/2020 09:04

Why do you think you would be unreasonable to subscribe to a service?

TheHappyHerbivore · 04/09/2020 09:05

Trying to decide what’s more cringe - OP’s attempt at sarcasm, or the people falling for it. It’s a real toss up.

MidnightCitrus · 04/09/2020 09:06

Really, I'd be watching paint dry rather than this

LittleBearPad · 04/09/2020 09:06

You should subscribe at least twice!

I hope they do a housekeeping show, they’ll be experts with all those bathrooms.
