I was born in 86 for reference Blush

V early, it was Haircut 100 videos but I was so young so that was more 'sweet' than sexy with curiosity about kissing...certainly not the S word...Nick Heyward was so innocent and wholesome looking it wasn't an inappropriate crush
Later... sexual awakening would have been Take on Me, Club Tropicana, Careless Whisper..

Buttybach · 05/09/2020 23:38

Chesney hawkes
One and only

alltoomuchrightnow · 05/09/2020 23:38

BumholeJ · 05/09/2020 23:38

Baby got back ♥️

chrislilleyswig · 05/09/2020 23:43

Haircut 100 fantastic day

I actually don't think it was a video but a TOTP appearance

Nick Heywards smile. It definitely ignited all sorts of feelings

alltoomuchrightnow · 05/09/2020 23:43

hahha just re watched Wild Boys and saw exactly what it was! SLB is strapped to a windmill thing and he's totally...erm... packing!!!

Serin · 05/09/2020 23:43

Duran Duran on the Rio yacht.
Simon Le Bon with his shirt open and his hair blowing in the wind.

joystir59 · 05/09/2020 23:44

Marc Bolan

alltoomuchrightnow · 05/09/2020 23:44

yes Chris, that's it, Nick Heyward's smile....he was my first EVER crush! And he looked about... 12! So he wasn't big and scary, and you know, all sexually aggressive like certain others of the time ;) He wore Arran jumpers for a start!

peakygal · 05/09/2020 23:44

Robbie Williams dancing in Take Thats Magic...Whoooaaa 😩😂 born in 85

EscapeTheCastle · 05/09/2020 23:45

We were spoilt for choice in the 80's were we not? Bowie, Adam Ant, Aha. Incredible selection of pop and rock tottie. All that and we had the best movie stars in their prime as well like Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise.
Thank you for alerting me to DAngelo. That something I needed to see.
Can I add one that buttered my croissant in 1988. Sisters of Mercy, Dominion.
I wasn't sure why I liked it a lot but I did.

OhMyDarling · 05/09/2020 23:45

Adam Garcia in Saturday Night Fever at the Palladium.
I didn’t know what hit me when he took off his shirt.
I saw the show 6 times in a year.

Buttybach · 05/09/2020 23:48

The lead singer of mr big

Then my first heartbreak kurt cobain

Serin · 05/09/2020 23:56

For reawakening, I would go with Sergei Polunin, dancing to Hozier's "Take me to Church" Shock

blibblibs · 06/09/2020 00:01

Not a music video but the scene in Dirty Dancing when Baby spends the night in his cabin. I was 12.

StillMedusa · 06/09/2020 00:04

At 12... Adam Ant.. I had posters all over my bedroom ..
Then I discovered David Bowie... dear God that beautiful man has done it from me from age 13 to 53... :D

AGirlCalledJohnny · 06/09/2020 00:05

@AgeLikeWine

Rio by Duran Duran. Pretty boys in pastel designer suits on a racing yacht seemed impossibly glamorous when viewed on the telly in our council house. John Taylor was just ridiculously hot, and a genius bass player, too.
Duran Duran were what did it for me, along with David Bowie in “Let’s Dance”. Smash Hits posters for days.

An honourable mention must go to the Nick Kamen Levi's 501 advert
OMGGGGGG. When I heard he was dating Patsy Kensit AFTER she’d been on the cover of Smash Hits with John Taylor I wanted to gouge her eyes out Envy

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 06/09/2020 00:06

Marti Pellow in blue velvet in the video for Love Is All Around. I don't even like the song much, I just think he is the most gorgeous man ever to exist. DH looked a bit like him... i had the good fortune to meet Marti a few years ago and despite his junkie ways, I still would.

bwfcchick88 · 06/09/2020 00:13

Britney Spears - Slave 4 U. Phwoar.

@LEELULUMPKIN

One of the best days of my life growing up was being taken to Manchester (our nearest big city with cool clothes) by my lovely late Mum who had saved hard to buy me a very special outfit.

It was the full Adam Ant get up. Frilly voluminous shirt paired with black velvet knickerbockers.

Totally out of place where I lived but I thought (and did) :) look like the kippers knickers!

It was my very first "grown up" trendy outfit and I never took it off!

What a sweet memory!

bernardblack Chesney is so lovely! When I was in Paris on a school trip (a retired male teacher liked to take only girls to Paris, would be seen as a bit odd these days!) me and a couple of the our girls sneaked out at went busking in the metro - Chesney Hawkes was there with a friend and was very sweet to us. We were dreadful buskers, we sang Eternal Flame Grin

amieejust · 06/09/2020 00:21

Erotica - Madonna

Lovesabadboy · 06/09/2020 00:30

@StillMedusa

Exactly the same as you! Adam Ant and Bowie and same timeline!

The China Girl video set me tingling, I can tell you!

Michael Hutchence was absolute sex personified. I was much older when I discovered INXS, but am forever grateful that I saw them live.

Yes the jumpers. Made me aware of feelings that I didn't know I could feel. Even know I still would SmileGrin
