I'll start....

Percy Pigs! 🐷

OP posts:
WhatamessIgotinto · 02/09/2020 06:41

Are we just talking about things we hate now rather than ones that are actually overrrated? If so I can write a million things down. 🤣

However I'll stick with overrated imo for now:

Prosecco
Gin
Mulberry bags

Speakeasy22 · 02/09/2020 06:54

Ferrero Rocher
I hate them so they must be overrated! Taste like cheap chocolates and crazy plastic packaging.

formerbabe · 02/09/2020 09:29

@ouch321. Completely agree with you about the Colin cake...I don't get why everyone raves about it Confused

Aisforharlot · 02/09/2020 09:55

Bacon

PattyPan · 02/09/2020 11:53

Mayonnaise aka the devil’s semen
Why is it nigh on impossible to buy ready made sandwiches without it?? Even vegan ones seem to all have vegan mayo in them now Angry

SerenityNowwwww · 02/09/2020 13:12

Mmmmmmm Mayo. Sadly it makes me very sick so I need to avoid it like the plague.

Fake tans
Mad eyebrows
Shredded jeans
Those talon like nails

unicornpower · 02/09/2020 13:25

Whats wrong with dogs?! They are amazing and i won't hear a bad word about halloumi or avocado either Shock Prosecco is also wonderful ;)

My contributions are
Breaking Bad
Benedict Cumberbatch
Quentin Tarantino-watched once upon a time in Hollywood the other day and it was DIRE.
Heinz Tomato soup
Fancy gin in big fish bowl glasses that cost about £100
Tea
Gigs
Kayla Itsines

LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone · 02/09/2020 13:52

Avocados. Weird and slimy.

Sex. Also weird and slimy.

Hot tubs. Weird concept and also possibly slimy.

Eating out. It's just food, and overpriced at that.

Camping. Just no.

TheGlitterFairy · 02/09/2020 15:45

Burgers.
Paul McCartney
Pret sandwiches
Aperol spritz

mollyminniemo · 02/09/2020 16:00

Center Parcs

SerenityNowwwww · 02/09/2020 16:03

LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone 😆 (ditto caviar)

BillywigSting · 02/09/2020 16:08

Make-up in general
Winter and everything about it. Including Christmas.
Posh schools, if your kid is clever they'll get decent marks anywhere (sil has a PhD in chem, went to a school that has now been shut down it was so rubbish. Dp also has BSc in chem, both from Russell group unis).
Chips
Wine
Booze in general
Unicorn everything
Mermaid everything
Star wars

tbontbtitq · 02/09/2020 16:13

Monogamy.

baldrickslittlesister · 02/09/2020 16:15

@LookToTreblesGoingTreblesGone I'm not convinced about Plain Bob Minor, I think it's overrated when compared to Plain Bob Major.

pussycatinboots · 02/09/2020 16:15

@70isaLimitNotaTarget

Tooth veneered , lip-filled, microbladed, lash extended, acrylic nailed , liposucked, brazilian waxed , breast implanted , hair extended , over made up women who appear on TV/ Social Media and I think "Who the Jeff are you , what do you actually DO and do you posess a mirror" ?

Proving they can walk and chew gum

Yup!

And their footballer husbands.

IncorrigibleTitmouse · 02/09/2020 16:19
  • Reality TV—especially the singing/dancing competitions, epic levels of cringe.
  • Olives
  • Warblers (female singers like Mariah Carey who take twelve minutes to sing one line because they make such a meal of it.)
  • McDonalds
  • Anything cheese and onion. Grim.
  • The long t-shirt, tiny shorts combo that seems to be going on at the moment.
IncorrigibleTitmouse · 02/09/2020 16:21

@PattyPan 100% with you on mayonnaise! It is impossible to find a decent sandwich without it.

pussycatinboots · 02/09/2020 16:23

anything with Coconut.
Sweetcorn.
Haggis.
The Beatles.
"Reality" TV including all of the "forced" pop groups that sprout from them.
"celebrity" culture.
Eating food off something that is not a plate.

BikeRunSki · 02/09/2020 16:24

Coffee

flirtygirl · 02/09/2020 17:00

Overated:
80% of tv
Holidays in the uk
The beatles
M & S food
Private schools
Landrover, Audi, BMW and Mercedes
Waitrose

Absolutely hate:
Reality tv
Social media
People having too many pets
People thinking it's cool to have a dirty house as proof of being so cool and so busy and looking down on these with clean houses as having no hobbies akin to being a airhead. !
People who can't comprehend that others live differently (hence my above statement needs the and bit of it, as it's the looking down on others whilst thinking you are too cool that I detest. Because quite frankly who cares of you have a clean or a dirty house...as long as I don't have to live there)

MyFuzzyBoy · 02/09/2020 17:03

Those wooden Ned toys.
I love wooden toys but I just don’t get the Ned obsession.

ilikebooksandplants · 02/09/2020 17:51

Tea. Just drink it. It’s not a personality trait.

Summer/ very hot weather. I am hard pushed to find any british person comfortable at 36 degrees.

False eyelashes.

Ed Sheeran. Can’t sing or write a lyric.

Influencers.

Milan. Thought it was a rubbish city when I went.

Copenhagen. Pretty but quite boring.

Moving out of London to commuter towns. None of the people I know who have moved to shit places in Hertfordshire really come back into London for fun stuff which makes me wonder why on Earth they don’t just move to an actually nice (cheaper) city or town further away? (I’m never leaving London thanks!).

Heatherjayne1972 · 02/09/2020 18:20
