Aibu to not be able to fathom the unbelievable consequences of teachers estimated grades?
DD had some friends over last night, two of these girls go to different schools.
Before lockdown they had roughly the same grades but girl 1 at a slight advantage of girl 2.
Anyway Girl 1 got very high grades, which even she was shocked at. Subsequently has been chosen to do 4 A-levels. Girl 2 was brutally marked with and lost all her sixth form places.
I feel like this is so unfair! Some schools marked very cautiously and downgraded students and some inflated and came out on top, with huge life changing consequences.
