To be annoyed that Ocado no longer stock Waitrose

I just logged in to do my online Ocado shop and found that they no longer have Waitrose products in stock. I knew this was coming but didn’t realise it was so soon! I love my Essential Waitrose stuff and don’t think M&S is a good swap personally.

I did log into Waitrose but they’re fully booked until Saturday, whereas Ocado can deliver tomorrow.

AIBU to think it’s a bit pants that Ocado no longer stock Waitrose and that Waitrose, knowing their contract was coming to an end, should have gotten their act together on the deliveries to coincide with this?

Anyway, as of today supermarket shopping got a whole lot less convenient!

It seems pretty clear that they aren’t able to cope with any kind of increased demand as it is. Their response during the COVID outbreak is fairly clear evidence of that

No online grocery delivery was able to cope with the increased demand of Covid.

I've just had my first Ocado order with M&S. Everything has arrived. I've been with Ocado for years. We continued getting weekly deliveries during lockdown. I find they are always on time and their drivers are very friendly.

Was expecting problems with yesterdays Ocado order but there weren't any. Everything was there, delivery on time.

I think I’m going to have to have 2 deliveries, Ocado and Waitrose.
Lots of our favourites and essentials are Waitrose own brand, but I’m looking forward to ordering M &s deli stuff.
It’s a right faff to change over cos you have to set up your favourites etc, but once it’s see up it’ll be fine.
Cant believe you didn’t notice the date, there’s been plenty of notice and yabu to get het up about not having delivery slots tomorrow. Its changeover time. It’s been nice having delivery slots available short notice but that has only just come back, it’s only a couple of weeks that we’ve had that convenience.

It doesn’t look very reliable, I will just carry on with my weekly Tesco’s order for most of my shopping and go to Waitrose and M&S stores weekly, they are local and near each other. I was going to get an Ocado shop but if stuffs missing I will have to go to store anyway. Tesco is very reliable and delivery is free as I use my Clubcard points that I accrue with my shopping to pay for delivery. I would just order from Waitrose in your situation OP

Ocado has always be every reliable in the past. I imagine any issues at the moment are just getting the stock levels right on the switch over day.
