Just read the recent and very raw comments on the passing of the actor Chadwick Boseman and the casting of Black Panther 2. I’m so sad that racism of this kind is permitted on the comments sections. It really is my fault for reading them, I Should know what to expect.

Well I wasn,t going to scrawl over 500 messages but I did look at the first page and no racist comments. But this is the daily fail and you,ss always get idiots.

Bonnieonthelam · 30/08/2020 16:27

There’s loads of comments and a fair majority are downright nasty.

If you don’t want to read racist comments, don’t read a racist paper ... every click adds to their revenue, revenue that they use to peddle more right wing bile

WorraLiberty · 30/08/2020 16:34

I've literally lost count of the amount of Daily Mail readers who start threads because they're upset about something they've read in their newspaper of choice.

Why do you insist on funding them OP and advertising too? 🤷‍♀️

AuntMasha · 30/08/2020 16:35

The whole Daily Heil experience in an exercise in having your soul ripped out of your body and your heart pierced by a thousand demons.

Just don’t go there.

TheHappyHerbivore · 30/08/2020 16:45

Wouldn’t expect anything else from the Daily Mail, tbh. It’s horrible, but we all know that paper is a magnet for the absolute worst of the worst in this country.

Gingerkittykat · 30/08/2020 16:45

I saw a couple of comments about replacing him with a white man and renaming the film White Panther.

The Daily Maily comments section is normally a complete cesspool and best avoided. I think they've probably screened the comments to make sure the worst are not published,

Bluepolkadots42 · 30/08/2020 16:47

Refuse to click on link to give this rag revenue- perhaps you can share some screenshots of comments?
Not sure why you are so surprised to see racist, nasty comments from Daily Mail readers? You must be aware of the DM''s reputation?

MistressMounthaven · 30/08/2020 16:53

I subscribe to the Times and there are many posts dismissing racism as if nonsense, many a bit misogynistic, some commenting on a woman's looks/ earning capability/ ability, sneering comments about lefties etc etc. That's anonymity for you. But I think the likes are mostly for reasonable comments. You just have to ignore them.

MaxNormal · 30/08/2020 17:04

The Daily Mail comments are where the terminally stupid crawl to spew out their misery, best thing is to leave them to writhe around in the slime of their own bile.

MyDarlingWhatIfYouFly · 30/08/2020 19:11

The DM comments section is an absolute cesspit - I think some of them write deliberately horrible comments for a laugh. Best avoided.
