I had a set of GHDs which were frankly disappointing- has anyone a recommendations for fast working straighteners to smooth my shoulder length slightly course textured hair

I've got Cloud 9 and Babyliss. I recommend both but I'd say the Babyliss ones have the edge.

My cloud 9 are better than my ghd.

Cloud 9 fan here. GHD'S have been on the slide for a while now.

I wanted cloud nine after my ghds broke but I couldn't afford them.

I bought kipozi ones and they're really good imo.

Cloud 9 are the same quality as the original GHD's. The new GHD's aren't the same. The guy who made GHD sold the company a few years ago, then brought out Cloud 9 and made them the same as the original ones.

Cloud 9 here too, and I have experience of GHDs. The original ones were great but later versions less so.

I had a pair of original GHDs up until a couple of years back. Thought about trying Cloud Nine but in the end bought GHD's again. I am very pleased with them they are just as good as the old GHDs.
