Invite 2 couples to ours tonight. Couple 1 show up, couple 2 we're still ringing an hour later who tell us they are waiting for 16yo son to be picked to go to friends house. Couple 2 never show up or message us. AIBU to be peed off ? Couple 1 actually had a belated card a gift with them for couple 2.

They probably had a huge row before hand and never made it out the door! These things happen. I would be more concerned than pissed off. You sound a bit petty about the belated present though, what’s that got to do with it??
