Could I be pregnant?

I’m going to sound like I’m crazy here.

I have had negative pregnancy tests and negative blood test but I’m still not convinced that they’re correct as I have been feeling flutters and movements in my lower abdomen for a few weeks now Confused

Has anyone ever had negative pregnancy tests and a negative blood test but ended up finding out they were pregnant?

Feel like I’m losing my mind here!

When was your last period, and have you had unprotected sex since?

BubblyBarbara · 28/08/2020 18:47

It’s possible. It was in the 80s for me but when I was pregnant with DD1 I had feelings like that though I didn’t take a test as I wanted to see how it panned out

Brieminewine · 28/08/2020 18:49

Pretty sure if a BHCG blood test is negative then you’re not pregnant.

Tiger2015 · 28/08/2020 18:50

@TheHappyHerbivore I am on the implant and I don’t have a regular monthly period because of it but my last period was in July.

I'd say unlikely given the blood test but you never know. Have you had a period? Did you have unprotected sex?

Skysblue · 28/08/2020 21:45

I don’t know about if pregnancy is possible but when I had polyps growing in my womb they felt exactly the same as early pregnancy did - a feeling of something moving slightly in womb.

Might be worth getting a scan done. Mine were not picked up by NHS who are shockingly bad at gynaecology (they just claim everything is psychological) but a private gynae guy did a colour ultrasound and saw them with that.

OwlinaTree · 28/08/2020 21:48

You wouldn't be Pg enough to be feeling flutters if you have got Pg since a July bleed.

Have you been Pg before?

GlummyMcGlummerson · 28/08/2020 22:00

Far too early to feel flutters if you had a period in July

Tiger2015 · 28/08/2020 22:40

@OwlinaTree yes I have been pg before I have a 5 year old so I know what early movements feel like.

Negative urine test.
Negative blood test.
Reliable method of contraception.

You are not pregnant.

PurpleDaisies · 28/08/2020 22:43

Oh wait. This is now your third practically identical thread on this.

What are you expecting posters to say that they haven’t already said on your other threads?

Tiger2015 · 28/08/2020 22:44

@Skysblue I didn’t know you could get that sort of health condition in your womb. I’ll be phoning the doctors on Monday morning as I have been really stressed out.

If you're implant is in date, with a negative test, you're not pregnant.

Wind.

Ethelfleda · 28/08/2020 22:48

It’s wind

Lmmj180318 · 07/10/2020 22:27

Was u pregnant

LG101 · 07/10/2020 22:57

Negative blood results mean no hcg so no hormones for a baby so definitely not pregnant. That’s detectable in the blood though all stages of pregnancy and if you were 12 weeks that hormone level would be quite high

ghostyslovesheets · 07/10/2020 23:12

No

Boom45 · 07/10/2020 23:20

Doesn't sound like you are pregnant to me. I have lots of random flutters since I've had the children, I think it's just wind etc reminding me of when I was pregnant. And if you had a period in July you'd be unlikely to feel anything now even if you were pregnant

Lmmj180318 · 08/10/2020 15:01

Was you pregnant

Tunnocks34 · 08/10/2020 15:07

Is it not just phantom movements? I get them all the time and it’s crazy how much they feel like those early movements

Conquered · 08/10/2020 16:07

Sounds more of a gastro issue, that can cause flutters too
