Or is there something wrong with my Lazy Spa?

I know, first world problems.

We bought a Lazy Spa at the beginning of lockdown. Every time it's rained heavily, I've thought the water level in it has increased, even though the lid has been on properly.

Now we've had torrential rain, and it's almost overflowing.....

Does anyone else have this problem? I can't find anything about it online!

When the weather is bad/raining the air pressure is lower so things filled with water naturally rise and look higher due to being pulled upwards. That’s what I was told when I looked into a similar problem at least. It’s also how barometers work.

That would not have any noticeable impact on a tub or pool. Otherwise my pool would be overflowing just now.

Hmm, interesting theory - I'm reasonably certain it's the actual water level as opposed to air pressure in the pool walls.

I'm thinking we need a gazebo / pergola / cheap option to cover it!
