Would you be shocked by a 12 year old having their eyebrows microbladed?
The girl is a pretty 12 year old, who isn't incredibly fair or anything.

AIBU for being shocked?

I would be. I'm surprised the salon agreed to do that sort of procedure on a child.

latheritup · 27/08/2020 20:16

I didn't think it would be allowed as it's classed as a tattoo, so they would need to be 18?

Mummyoftwo91 · 27/08/2020 20:17

I think you have to be 18 it's a version of tattooing

Metalhead · 27/08/2020 20:18

YANBU, if nothing else it fucking hurts so why would anyone let their 12 yo do this?! (And also who would carry it out on a child?)

cheesecrackersandchips · 27/08/2020 20:18

It hurts like hell. YANBU to be shocked.

The only reason I got one done at 40 was because I’d had years of crap waxing, plucking and threading.

No way should a 12yo need any kind of cosmetic surgery.

timetest · 27/08/2020 20:20

No way. If it’s not illegal, it should be.

Gingerfish91 · 27/08/2020 20:20

The lady that does mine wouldn’t do anyone under 18. I’m sure it’s not even legal!

Nixen · 27/08/2020 20:22

Yes that’s shocking and I would judge the hell out of the parents and report whatever salon did it as that’s illegal surely?

Parkandride · 27/08/2020 20:25

It was so painful when I had it, that's just wrong on a child. Surely it should be the same age as tattoos?

JudgeyPantstoArmpits · 28/08/2020 09:03

Thanks all. I did wonder if I was just really out of touch. Nice to know I'm not alone in finding it unreasonable
