To think I could possibly be pregnant?

Soblueithurts · 27/08/2020 14:49

I last had sex on my period, now 31 days ago. I usually have my period every 28 days and very regular, so I’m now 3 days late. However if I was pregnant I’d surely have a strong dark line on my test and there’s only the faintest line (vertical line on the left). Feel sick with stress so that could be what’s delaying it.

To think I could possibly be pregnant?

But another better test, it could be a positive??

Mellonsprite · 27/08/2020 15:00

But not but

Mellonsprite · 27/08/2020 15:00

Aargh buy

WineIsMyMainVice · 27/08/2020 15:02

I’d say that’s a positive.
Hope you’re ok op.

Zippy1510 · 27/08/2020 15:03

I would say that’s a strong positive. I tested negative up to a week late and was pregnant.

Curiosity101 · 27/08/2020 15:04

Technically possible but as mentioned in your other post you'd have to be 24-26 DPO and have ovulated on or before CD7.

So unfortunately it seems unlikely based on the line strength.

Zippy1510 · 27/08/2020 15:04

If you go in any of the TTC boards you see fairly frequently that even the faintest of lines usually indicates a positive- it’s rarely as strong as the other line until you are much further along.

ImNotBusyImLazy · 27/08/2020 15:05

I see a line, it looks positive to me. Even a faint line counts, but I'd get another test to be sure.

WheresMyMilk · 27/08/2020 15:05

It does look Positive but would be unusual if you’d conceived on your period unless you are a very early ovulator. I second the suggestion of another test.

Not sure what outcome you hope for but I hope it’s the one you get Flowers

MoonBase10 · 27/08/2020 15:06

Looks like my first positive test to me.

Hope your ok

Cherrybalm · 27/08/2020 15:06

what brand is it?

skankingpiglet · 27/08/2020 15:07

I would say that's a positive too. It's a much stronger line than I got for DD2. Given the timings of DTD I would take a second test to be sure though. I would be buying one of those fancy digital ones for clarity.

aijaine · 27/08/2020 15:07

Use a pink dye test, blue dye is co confusing

Soblueithurts · 27/08/2020 15:08

It’s Sainsbury’s which apparently gives false positives. I don’t know what I want the outcome to be either, my mental health is pretty poor at the moment. I’ll go out later and get a Poundland test as they are meant to be good

Climbingallthetrees · 27/08/2020 15:09

That looks positive. But I’ve just looked at your other thread and without the saturation effect it could be an evap line.

Soblueithurts · 27/08/2020 15:09

I just don’t know what’s going on with my body, I keep imagining that I’m having period pain but then nothing.

DrDetriment · 27/08/2020 15:09

it's hard to tell. Leave it a couple of days and test again. And as for the inconsiderate posters saying 'congratulations' maybe being pregnant would be the last thing the OP needs so please show some sensitivity. Hope you are ok OP and whatever happens are able to deal with it.

leadinglight · 27/08/2020 15:09

It's a positive. Test lines may not get darker until weeks later. I hope this is happy news for you even if it is unexpected!

Waveysnail · 27/08/2020 15:11

I had period style cramps for first three months of pregnancy. Midwife said it was my body adapting

Cherrybalm · 27/08/2020 16:01

I hate to say it but that's why I asked the brand. I've had multiple false positives with sainsburys. I tested it once in a 2 pack and ran one under water and it came up with a line. I have pictures of it still - that isnt to say they arent true positives but I would definitley check with a different brand to be sure
