I have a three month old baby and feel that my partner is not pulling his weight. I have been diagnosed as suffering from pneumonia and am physically unable to care for our baby. Yet my husband doesn’t help out. As a result my baby is benign cared for by my parents.
Not only is he not helping with child care but he is also not doing any of the housework. He simply goes to work.
I don’t want to end the relationship but feel like a single parent anyway.
He has never been great with looking after the baby. He always complains of being tired but cannot cope with feeding our child or coping when the baby is even slightly unsettled. I cannot leave the baby in his card for even five minutes to shower as he simply cannot cope.
I really am unsure what to do.

He's useless. Since you have to do everything and he doesn't care that you're struggling, what's the point of him?

What benefits are you a d your child getting from him being around?
He sounds like a man child. I can't believe that your joint child has had to go to your parents instead of the father stepping up.

Sort this now. Otherwise nothing will change and you find yourself in the same situation in twenty years time
