Fly tipping

I posted last month about my neighbour throwing their rubbish in my bins , gardens and front door, I have reported to the council numerous times but nothing has been done , and they keep throwing their rubbish. This morning I have recurved a leaflet from the neighbourhood team asking me to tidy my garden in the 3 weeks or else they will take actions including evictions. I have called them and told them I am not the one throwing rubbish in the garden that it’s my neighbour who had been throwing them and also told them I have reported to the council which they have told me to wait that someone from their office will ring me . I am so angry right now why would they throw their rubbish in my garden just to put me in troubles with my landlord , last year I had the same problem which I had explained to my landlord I wasn’t the one throwing the rubbish but still he never believed me , he said I must tidy it . I had to pay a cleaning company 120 to come and clean it for me. Now it’s has happened again and I am sick and tired of dealing with my neighbour. I will attach the pictures and if anyone can help me with what to do and the right people to call to report this matter. Thanks

Have you spoken to your neighbour at all? If you've got evidence (such as cctv) the council should be able to take action (although unlikely they will be able to clear it).

Flytipping on private land is the householders responsibility (and cost) to remove. I'm not sure whether being in a HA property changes that but that might be why the council is putting the responsibility on you.

Can you afford CCTV to catch your neighbour at it?

Thanks for the advice . I have spoke with them before but they keeps pretending to not speak English properly and sometimes they will just ran inside the house to avoid me. I don’t have any cctv camera can you please recommend a good system, preferably one that can be monitored via an app and is easy to install?

Can you throw it back?

Maryann7819 · 27/08/2020 12:48

I have been throwing it back to them but they keep throwing back to me . they will wait for a week before throwing it back to me again.

Arseholes. I think cctv is the way forward then. Is there anything identifiable in the rubbish they are throwing over? Anything with their names, addresses etc to prove that it isn't your rubbish?

Get CCTV. Throw it all back. Tell them you’re getting CCTV and will report them if they dump things in your garden again.
Pretty sure they’ll understand that.
