I'm so sick of going round and round in circles so it seems. I cant seem to get anything 'finished' or 'done' or ticked off. Like for instance last night on the way back from football training I thought I'd go to the bank and deposit money I'd been meaning to pay in - thought it would save time, no queueing etc. Great, did that. Got home, realised I had forgotten to take my card out of the machine. Spent ages trying to phone the bank today. Will have to go down there in the morning and ask them do I need a new one or will they have that one there for me. Another thing - bought a safety gate to stop dog going upstairs during lockdown - it was too wide.... So have been managing with it. Bought a new one on Sat - got the wrong one, got one to screw into the wall instead of pressure. Went down and exchanged it yesterday. Must have put the wrong order number down, as this one is too small. FFS am so annoyed at myself. Have just ordered yet another one, but it's not available til tmw, and I also have to bring the too narrow one back, and I still have the extra wide one that nobody wants - have advertised it locally on f/book etc, no takers. Dump is not open without appt. Only appt I can get is 8.30 on Bank Hol Mon. There are loads of things like this every single day. Is it just that I'm getting older and less efficient. Every day I seem to be righting wrongs from the day before. Feel like screaming. Am on a "week off" from work - had to cancel camping cos of the weather, so am stuck into doing jobs round the house. Doesn't feel like a holiday. Don't even talk to me about getting all the stuff for school ready...
