I am seeing Fb posts and articles from a private Walton school (Daensfield) where my DS and I have had a horrendous experience. The posts about being nurturing and “totally prepared to support your child” are making me ill. I know of SIX other parents, likely more, who have also been sorely let down and are still reeling from their experience after finally leaving. I know an employee whose (off the record) insights would curl your toenails.
AIBU in feeling hurt and that I should probably lay a complaint against them?
Complaint includes 1) not supporting DS needs after various promises, meetings and requests and then claiming they did all they could with the limited staff and resources they have.
2) Inexperienced SENCO whose only experience is dyslexia, and
3) The school being run by an out-of-touch Trust who are throwing money at the situation rather than resolving the fundamental issues.
What would you do?
