It's been 163 days since I had any time to myself without children for company. AIBU to need a break even if it's just an hour?! Please?!

Not in the slightest! I feel your pain.

How come you haven't had a break?

If you have a partner can't they take the children?

If not can't you bubble with another family member or friend who will take them if only for an hour?

ineedabreaks · 24/08/2020 20:08

I work in a hospital nursery so have been with the children there or my own children, I don't have a partner and my local family are elderly so I haven't seen them because of the risks of my work.

You’re clearly a saint. I would have exploded long before now. Get a break, and quick.

ilovepuggies · 24/08/2020 20:49

Can you take an annual leave half day or leave work a couple of hours earlier?

randomchap · 24/08/2020 20:58

Book a days leave, don't tell anyone, have the day to yourself.
