Just that really. I'd like to know the outcomes when people are asking for advice, making a decision etc. Maybe I'm just over invested.

OP posts:

The show all feature has been really helpful with this. If a thread already has 100+ comments when I see it but the show all says OP has only posted once I don't waste my time engaging with it. Much reduces frustration!

I know. There are some cracking threads that you never find the outcome of.

The first one I read on here was the one where the woman wanted to extend her kitchen into the passage way between her house and next door but the owner next door, understandable, wouldn’t let her. Everyone told her it was crazy and wrong but she wouldn’t listen.
I still wonder what happened.

FTMF30 · 24/08/2020 12:38

Yeah I don't like that either. Especially when you see multiple posts begging the OP to update.
I understand the ones where the OP has been completely slated bit, otherwise, it's a little annoying.

I always wonder about the child who was made to do a trust fall at a play group and hit her head, causing injuries. I keep trying to search for it for an update.

Yep, really handy Grin

Personally I think the vast majority are hand grenade threads. See how many posts something can get with just the first post. If they're really good they'll give a couple more with titbits and then just never come back. The see all button saves some time with all that crap.

I often feel like this, especially when I read about a woman who is getting out of an abusive relationship, and I'm cheering her on and incredibly invested.... and then I remember that she's a real human being and not here for my entertainment. (And I'm not saying you think that, I completely get what you're saying!)
