Shut up

Shutup2020 · 23/08/2020 20:30

Posting for traffic: Have you ever been told to shut up during sex?

OP posts:
Skang · 23/08/2020 20:30

No

Anordinarymum · 23/08/2020 20:31

Sounds kinda horny

Queenfreak · 23/08/2020 20:31

No, but if I had I would have stopped. Sex for me is about emotion as well as physical gratification- and being told to shut up would kill the moment.

Bobbiepin · 23/08/2020 20:31

Been told to be more quiet (parents in the next room/baby sleeping) but NEVER been told to shut up.

HerrenaHarridan · 23/08/2020 20:31

Yeah actually.

We aren’t together anymore

Skang · 23/08/2020 20:31

Were you reading the shipping forecast though?

Babs709 · 23/08/2020 20:31

I don’t talk a lot during sex

ohthegoodtimes · 23/08/2020 20:35

No but I have shouted it repeatedly at my upstairs neighbours when they had sex every single bloody night for a month at 3 in the morning waking up my kids....... it didn't make them shut up🙄.

Igotthemheavyboobs · 23/08/2020 20:38

No but I have told my partner too when he says this bloody phrase he thinks is sexy but just annoys the crap out of me!

OnceUponATimeInHollywood · 23/08/2020 20:39

Nope but he's put his hand over my mouth, does that count? Haha.

PintOfCoffeePlease · 23/08/2020 20:41

It totally depends on delivery (can be hot) but given that you have to ask, it probably wasn't said or received in that way.

Shutup2020 · 23/08/2020 20:51

Lol, some of your replies have made me laugh, especially the loud, bonking, randy, upstairs neighbours Grin

Just to clarify, it was said to me, during sex, as I was cumming. It was the aggression in his voice that got me.

Confused that's not good!
Ponoka7 · 23/08/2020 20:53

If someone gets aggressive during sex then it should be ended. What was the reason he said that, were you being theatrical?

ToTheTwees · 23/08/2020 20:57

As a younger, inexperienced woman, I used to say "fuck me!" because that's what the women in porn said. One bloke politely responded "I am!". Blush

"Shut up" is horrible though. Sex is a place to be comfortable and relaxed, not shamed. If he's making you feel crap then (and I've never said this before but...) LTB.

SynchroSwimmer · 23/08/2020 21:10

I have said it, probably using different words though...

When the chap is talking (at critical moments) about ridiculous random subjects such as painting the shed, double glazing problems or the Euro/£ exchange rates 😂

TheGirlWithAPrince · 23/08/2020 21:25

really? they said shut up? :S i dont think ive ever been told to be quiet.. if my voice needed to be quieter i just had a hand placed over my mouth haha which i was fine with and it was done nicely not angrily :S

Ha! Brilliant.

I agree with the second paragraph. I've been shushed, but generally because of other people in the house, but never been told to shut up. That in itself is pretty aggressive.

Shutup2020 · 24/08/2020 22:04

No, I wasn't being theatrical. I'm actually quite quiet during sex. This is the same guy who asked me, another time, whether I was enjoying it as I was so quiet. There were other power games going on, this was the final straw.

It's over. I took the 'coward's' way out and ghosted him. I just couldn't be doing with the drama. He was one of those who would either punish me with the silent treatment or rage at me. Neither were pleasant.

borntohula · 24/08/2020 22:14

I'm pretty sure my boyfriend prefers me to make a bit of noise. Sounds like this guy deserves to be ghosted.

MJMG2015 · 24/08/2020 22:20

Well done! He sounds like a complete twat!

Shutup2020 · 24/08/2020 22:38

I hate to throw the term 'narc' around, but nothing I ever did was good enough.

Seven months of ever-so-slowly knocking my confidence...

We didn't sleep together for months (my choice) and he convinced me it was my fault...ah, you know how it goes..

The End.
