Confused.... does this tv have freeview

Apologies for posting here but I need the traffic.

After lots of research I bought my SIL this tv thinking it had freeview, she tells me it doesn't. Is she right as I thought the description says it does, thanks!

Is she confused about what’s shown on freeview maybe?

She has been out and brought a freeview box for £50 and is trying to work out what cables she needs.

Has she got a functioning aerial? It already has a Freeview receiver so just plug her aerial straight into the TV.

I have that TV. Freeview is built in, she just needs to plug the aerial into it. Or in my case, I had to buy a portable one as my house doesn't have an aerial.

She needs a freeview aerial to plug into it, it doesn’t work via WiFi like the apps do.

Definitely has Freeview. It will tune automatically and then tell her just to look at the TV guide and she will see the Freeview channels displayed.

Yes it does, but does she think you can get the channels over WiFi rather than through an ariel? (wish you could!)

There was probably no need for her to have bought a separate Freeview box. I thought this was a smart tv that connected to your WIFI?

I was sure all TVs has Freeview nowadays
I mean no Tele comes with just 5 channels does it

All new TVs have Freeview and have done for years

Thank you all for your help, I'll pass the message on that it's there somewhere! @jimmyhill apparently Samsung tv's from 2016 don't have freeview, but the answers on here suggest otherwise.
