I really want to get into something good to watch but every night I've gotten into a routine of spending most of the time in the evening going through Netflix, prime etc and then it gets too late so I stick a documentary or something I've seen before on. So please send recommendations of really good/binge worthy series my way!

Snowpiercer in Netflix!! Really bingeworthy.

AnyFucker · 22/08/2020 13:40

Have just started The Fall & liking it so far, binge watches I've previously enjoyed -
Queen of the South

Homeland

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 22/08/2020 21:05

Umbrella Academy. 3%. The Rain. Frequency. All on Netflix

And rewatching Wild At Heart on Amazon. DC were too small when it was on originally but are enjoying it now.

MarshaBradyo · 22/08/2020 21:09

Selling Sunset

Great mix of expensive property / fashion / gossip. So easy to watch.

Ididnotseethiscoming · 22/08/2020 21:12

Man in the high castle on prime is brilliant. 'If the Nazis and Japanese won WW2' is the premise. Really interesting

oreshina · 22/08/2020 22:55

Schtisel - love it.

bluetongue · 23/08/2020 01:02

I’be just started watching season 1 of Dirty John. I love it. Eric Bana is such a creepy slime ball in it Grin

Durgasarrow · 23/08/2020 01:47

The Plot Against America
Ramy
Succession

Catsup · 23/08/2020 02:37

Unorthodox was brilliant! I really enjoyed it. In response to a pp I pay for 3 services 😳 but I keep on top of offers/vouchers to keep the prices down, and I'll cut a service loose to possibly resume if there's something I really want to see? I was going to bin off my Nowtv but got a great offer of 5mth £1 entertainment/£3 cinema, so I'll let that run until it ends. Its only worth whatever you're willing to pay if there's something you want to see. I think it makes it harder when there's something you really want to watch on one forum 😕 Dd has Amazon so I got the benefit of 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' during babysitting duties, but I'd honestly say there was nothing much that caught my eye enough to pay for it. Chernobyl on Nowtv was brilliant! Netflix isnt great for new releases vs Nowtv Cinema, but then again you're only getting say 3 new drops on a Friday, and some of them aren't even worth viewing.

Catsup · 23/08/2020 02:54

Also adding Snowpiercer was really good on Netflix as pp stated. I also really enjoyed Mildred Pierce.

Blueuggboots · 23/08/2020 03:20

The morning show.
Outlander - we binged all 5 series and are now having withdrawal from it!!

Katkincake · 23/08/2020 05:12

As well as loads recommended here I also recommend (some of these are a few years old so not sure if still available?);
Upload on Prime
The OA on Netflix
Ragnarok on Netflix (it’s in Norwegian- I preferred to watch it in original language & read subtitles as dubbing was bad)
Down to earth with zac efron - Netflix
Glow - Netflix
Altered Carbon - Netflix

orangeblosssom · 24/08/2020 06:50

Dirty John: Betty Broderick

BikeRunSki · 24/08/2020 06:59

This is Us - Netflix

Absolutely brilliantly written, produced and cast. The last episode managed to both tie up loose ends and introduce new leads. I do hope there is another season.

jessstan2 · 24/08/2020 07:06

It's not on Netflix in the UK but is on Amazon prime.

BikeRunSki · 24/08/2020 07:09

Sorry, my mistake. Still brilliant.

BikeRunSki · 24/08/2020 07:10

Also Workin’ Moms (definitely Netflix in UK!).

NeedWineNow · 24/08/2020 08:22

We did The Last Kingdom on Netflix after the BBC dropped it.

Norsemen on Netflix. The Guardian described it as Month Python meets Game of Thrones which summed it up. A Norwegian comedy series filmed simultaneously in English and Norwegian about a group of Vikings and their day to day lives. Tried the first one, loved it and binge watched all three series.

Just started Vikings on Prime.

Itsmeeloise · 24/08/2020 08:38

Little Fires Everywhere - brilliant mini series with Reese Witherspoon. I think it's on Prime

ImaWomAnnotaWomEn · 24/08/2020 08:58

Succession -sky
Little Birds - sky (What an ending)
Epstein - Filthy Rich - Netflix
The Americans - Prime
Doctor Foster - Netflix
Versailles - Prime
Vikings - Prime
Last Kingdom - Netflix
On my Block - Netflix, currently watching with DS (15) v funny.
