I really want to get into something good to watch but every night I've gotten into a routine of spending most of the time in the evening going through Netflix, prime etc and then it gets too late so I stick a documentary or something I've seen before on. So please send recommendations of really good/binge worthy series my way!

The Wire - second time.

WoodenFox · 21/08/2020 16:10

Just finished Young Offenders, currently binge watching Umbrella Academy. Really enjoyed Schitt Creek.

Pokkadots · 21/08/2020 16:16

Mrs America on iplayer

Nuffaluff · 21/08/2020 16:18

We are watching ‘Better Call Saul’. It’s the spin off from ‘Breaking Bad’ about how the lawyer character became who he is. It’s also got Mike in it.
It’s been on Netflix for a long time, so there are lots of series. It’s brilliant. The perfect mix of comedy, drama and suspense. Very well acted and superb script.
My husband loves it so much. He’s seen it all before but he’s watching it with me again for a second time.

mogloveseggs · 21/08/2020 16:19

ER on all 4

ReasonablyUnreasonable · 21/08/2020 16:20

Queer Eye on Netflix. Quite different to my usual, but really enjoying the positivity, especially at the moment!

CoffeeandCroissant · 21/08/2020 16:28

Seven Seconds (Netflix)
Unbelievable (Netflix)

NeedToKnow101 · 21/08/2020 16:41

Sex Education.

HilaryBriss · 21/08/2020 16:46

I've just finished Money Heist (fab), Ozarks (got bored after season 1) and Mindhunter (a bit slow) on Netflix and have now started The Sinner (too early to say)

FlurkenSchnit · 21/08/2020 16:48

The Boys on Prime, looking forward to Season 2 in early September. In between I plan on watching Dirty John Season 2 on Netflix.

I spend ages adding to my watch lists on both Prime and Netflix every time I open the apps!

And I am enjoying A Suitable Boy, almost didn’t bother watching episode 2 as wasn’t that taken with episode 1 but improved a lot by second episode and now enjoying it.

Baboutheocelot · 21/08/2020 16:55

We’re watching justified on prime. It’s about a US Marshall, very watchable.

AuntieMarys · 21/08/2020 16:57

Queen of the South

theluckiest · 21/08/2020 16:57

@Lottapianos

Selling Sunset, if you fancy some soap opera, trashy, mindless fluff with amazing shoes, outfits and housesGrin
Just binged all 3 seasons. It's utterly compulsive viewing. I don't have to think about anything at all, just enjoy...

Line of Duty
Luther
Breaking Bad (I'm very late to this one!!)
Tiger King

bitofawimpreally · 21/08/2020 16:58

Ooh, loads of good ideas on here!

We've just come to the end of a few series.

DEVS is absolutely amazing- one series, gripping thriller/drama

All the True Detective series are good- just finished the final series last night.

Six Feet Under- first time watching for me, really loved it.

There She Goes- family drama about life with a learning disabled daughter. Moving, funny and heart-wrenching.

Krazykaren07 · 21/08/2020 16:58

Schitts creek is wonderful! We all loved it.
Line Of Duty
Good Girls
And Selling Sunset!

Fyzz · 21/08/2020 17:02

I saw The Fall first time round, very tense stuff.
Wanted - Australian thriller with fabulous female characters.
Ozark I gave up series 2.
I found The Bridge somewhere on sky and have downloaded it. Can anyone tell me is it family viewing, as in no graphic sex?
I never binge though, if something is good I like to make it last.

APurpleSquirrel · 21/08/2020 17:05

We're currently watching:

Lovecraft Country(Sky)
The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)
Hunters (Prime)
911 (Sky)
Little Fires Everywhere (Prime)

marmite92 · 21/08/2020 17:09

Ahh thanks everyone! I'll put a list together from all this but might start with Ozark as that's been recommended a lot
