I hope to God he never gets elected again and am a lifelong Labour supporter. However I don’t think having a holiday is a problem. I don’t much care where it is. Having a break is generally good for cognitive function which he clearly needs.

I know his sister Rachel was staying on the west coast, Renfrewshire, in the last few weeks. I assume it’s the same place? Doesn’t look much but it will be a very nice cottage I think.

As much as I'd like to be proven wrong I very much doubt Boris is being affected by his sons sleep regression. I honestly can't see him doing night feeds or getting up to settle the baby.

He's at Pontins and is watching a Bucks Fizz reunion concert at the table next to mine. Don't worry, we're outdoors and all social distancing. I saw him in McDonald's yesterday getting a 50% off double whopper meal. So if he's doing a fat camp here, then he escaped.

I definitely wouldn't be spending the night in it, it could easily blow into the sea. Perhaps the PM thinks he weighs enough to weigh it down despite the elements. Imagine putting a baby in that.

Our dd was born on a camping trip. She went on her first proper camping trip when she was about 6m. We took her camping every year until a few years ago - I had to stop camping due to disability, just couldn't hack it any more. DD, however, continues to camp every year more than once.

I was at a campsite in Wales once where someone had a baby. It seemed a semi planned thing. Nobody called an ambulance and everyone seemed quite chilled out and happy about the whole situation.
