Just wondering how many actually believe that?

YABU = He is on a camping trip

YANBU = He is not on a camping trip

Sorry not rtft but I've just seen somewhere a Russians yatch has been seen in Scotland and a few people think hes on that. I didnt pay much attention wish I had now.

MsTSwift · 22/08/2020 09:37

He lies lies lies and treats those closest to him abysmally. Have you read about how he treated his first and second wives?

I am no Tory but Cameron May and Major I felt were all actually decent people. Boris isn’t. I am so sad he is our leader tbh. He cares about one thing and one thing only that is himself.

Apparently he's concerned for his and his family's safety and they're flying back to London. I don't blame him

It's a shame that the DM exposed his holiday place.

You have to wonder if it was leaked by Number 10 to present a photo op with the tent - as this was talked about.

How the hell do you find where the PM is staying in such a remote place like this - unless either it's leaked or a local tells the press.

chomalungma · 22/08/2020 09:45

@derxa

He could suffer a nasty accident and I would care even less. That is some statement.
If you pitch a tent very near a cliff edge, it's a good way of suffering a nasty accident.

It is and I stand by it.

Apparently he's been missing for two weeks as well - but quite clearly he was in Staffordshire and Belfast carrying out official duties barely a week ago.

derxa · 22/08/2020 09:46

It is and I stand by it. I don't wish a nasty accident on anyone. Why do you?

randomer · 22/08/2020 09:50

@PhilCornwall1, surely he is some kind of circus act for the masses. Michael Macintyre keeps popping up on my phone, quite funny and seems OK but thats how I see BJ. A fool, a front man, whilst those who I could happily dispose of are pulling the strings.

SadiePurple · 22/08/2020 09:53

I don't believe he's been camping any more than I believe he actually supports Grimsby Town football club, it's their hat he's wearing in the photos. Clown.

Not caring less if someone has one and wishing one in someone aren't the same.

It's not unusual to have no feelings towards an accident affecting someone you don't know.

Even less unusual when it's someone you don't know who has managed to have a negative impact on your life because of who they are.

HaveYouSeenMyFriendKimberley · 22/08/2020 10:00

Had he spooked himself watching the Wicker Man as a youth?

Clavinova · 22/08/2020 10:06

Here we go - from the Sun newspaper;

"Sources close to the family say they will be north of the border for six days, which will include a “couple of days of camping”.

Where did I do that?

I simply said I wouldn't care if he did.

When he was in hospital I certainly wasn't sat here hoping he would die, unlike a "celebrity" who wanted him to. I just wouldn't have been at all concerned if he did.

chomalungma · 22/08/2020 10:27

Says in the Mail that they spent evenings in the tent with a campfire relaxing.

Is it camping if you just spend an evening in the tent but then go back to your cottage to sleep?

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/08/2020 10:30

Word is that the tent with attached cottage is a dead cat to detract from a superinjunction

Barbie222 · 22/08/2020 10:30

It's a shame that the DM exposed his holiday place.

It was almost certainly a planted article: there was too much noise on Twitter about his father's birthday and Greece.

Barbie222 · 22/08/2020 10:35

That and the superinjunction!

Luckypoppy · 22/08/2020 10:53

@TracyBeakerSoYeah

This is probably Boris's idea of camping!
It's my idea of camping too 😃

Apparently he's been missing for two weeks as well - but quite clearly he was in Staffordshire and Belfast carrying out official duties barely a week ago.

And yet... he was nowhere to be seen during the whole A level fiasco and lead up to that. How can he even claim to be a leader?

Fiddling while Rome burns.

Fiddling while Rome burns.
A blonde haired recent father, a violinist and a super injection.

Ho ho ho.

Clavinova · 22/08/2020 11:53

He was quite clearly in Belfast on A-level results day -

"He is meeting with the region’s First Minister Arlene Foster and Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill at Hillsborough Castle [13th August] where he will later have his first face-to-face meeting with Ireland’s premier Micheal Martin."

Brexit, coronavirus...he has to delegate.

From the Guardian;
"Ofqual’s chief executive, Sally Collier, is expected to be hauled before MPs early next month to face questions about the exams fiasco, it has emerged."

"Collier has made no public appearance or statement since the exams regulator announced it would ditch its grading algorithm, two days after education secretary Gavin Williamson said there would be “no U-turn, no change”.

"She faces a grilling from MPs on the education select committee alongside Ofqual chair Roger Taylor when the Commons reconvenes in early September."

@CarrieBlue

‘If’ he’s camping, it’s in the grounds of someone’s estate and it’s in a safari style lodge with all mod cons.
One hopes it was one with hungry lions. Lions who can climb.
