To ask question about paypal/Ebay

Boring thread but need to know;
I have a new debit card through and old one is inactive.
Do I absolutely have to add it to paypal?
i.e if someone tries to buy one of my items on eBay does paypal link in with the bank account you have registered on paypal or would the purchaser find it impossible to pay if the new debit card isn’t on paypal? Thanks

You’ll need to update it with the new card number, expiry date etc but it’s easy to do on the PayPal website

You only need ot if you are buying not selling as they have your bank details

My PayPal is only linked with my bank account as I have had a new card for about 6 months and I’ve got the account linked as main source, so never had a problem. :)

Once the funds hit your paypal you can then transfer it yourself as a bank transfer. I’ve done this plenty of times.

Sorry for all the messages if you are buying, the funds will debit your account in around 2-5 days. I’ve got 3 transactions sat waiting to debit my account currently. Hope that helps.
