People just disposing of masks on path

I was walking back from our local supermarket and seen 3 face masks lying on the ground! WHAT is the matter with people? Disgusting!!!

Oh that's everywhere isn't it...used to be cans and crisp packets, now it's masks!

Yep. I've been litter picking in my local park/forest and we do pick up masks once in a while. Still completely oven taken by dog shit bags, about 40 to 1.

It’s annoying. I don’t get the mentality of those who think leaving any sort of litter is acceptable though.

Maybe they are dropped by mistake? My son has lost 2 by not realising he has let go of them

Possibly a biohazard if the wearer was infected.

Our puppy picked one off the verge this evening- I had to hook it out of her mouth

I always presumed they had fallen out of people’s bags/pockets.

I do click and collect so I'm often sat outside of Asda with a good view of the store exit. I've lost count of how many times I've seen people grab their mask off and push the trolley with the crumpled mask in their hand 🤦‍♀️

Gloves and masks have been disposed of badly round here since Covid started. I've seen people purposely chuck them on the floor by their cars in a supermarket car park. Don't want the germs in their car but fine with some other poor sod clearing up their waste. Filthy buggers.
