My 50th September df died 3 years ago dm recently developed dementia and in a carehome nobody does any of the stuff we used to do now when DM was okay like shopping, meals out etc and nobody really calls me either. I always said our family would drift once parents had gone and I see it happening obviously lockdown didnt help butbits not picking up anyway.
We was at one point going away to a cottage for my 50th in Ocriber but sister put a stop on it due to covid. My one sister is saying we will have get together at her house but I'm inclined to do my own thing aibu
