Sofa cushions never sit properly!

I spent a small fortune on my leather sofa but the seat cushions never sit together. The middle one always comes up when someone sits on one of the sides. The sofa company have taken the sofa away and apparently reduced some of the stuffing but it didn’t make any difference. They then sent a technician from Homeserve who came and looked and said it’s fine and they just need plumping. I’ve tried plumping them but it’s the same. Is this normal for leather sofas with seat cushions? Do you need to plump the cushions every day or something? What should I do? I’m so fed up!

I’m afraid that your main problem is that you purchased a leather sofa.
They’re notorious for sliding cushions/moving about.

We only have fabric sofas and have never had this issue but friends with (sweat magnets) leather sofas often do.

We bought our leather two seater in 04 in DFS and the cushions don't come apart , but you can't turn them over either ! Didn't realize when we first looked at it in the shop.
We had a cheap fabric sofa when we first were married and the cushions used to drive us mad moving around and never looking tidy. We bought a sofa throw which helped a bit.

I wish the sofa had just one long cushion rather than three separate ones. It’s so annoying!

We have several leather sofas, some with separate cushions and have never had a problem with any of them.
