AIBU to not wear a bra?

Has anybody else not worn a bra since lockdown?
I have been furloughed so at home I have been going braless and I feel so much more comfortable!
Obviously i'll wear a bra when work picks up again but I have also not been wearing a bra when I go for meals, shopping, seeing friends etc.

I am 25 and I am a 32b and personally I think it looks okay. However, my friend's boyfriend saw my boyfriend the other night and commented that he noticed I haven't been wearing bras.

Now i'm not sure whether to go back to wearing bras in my everyday routines.

I am guessing he did not mention you were not wearing a corset, bodice and stockings and suspenders, thong so why mention a bra ? what the heck has any of your underwear / lack of got to do with him

I am a 38 DD ish ( I really must get properly measured ) like PP said I feel undressed without one on but I dont particularly like them either , I wish I could find some that the straps stay on my shoulders and at the length I want then instead of re-adjusting themselves sliding off all the time Hmm

That is strange, for a guy to say that to another girls bf sorry!

I think it's up to you, and also you are fortunate to be a small cup size, I don't mean that in any offensive way at all, what I am saying is, if you was a G like me there is no way I could go around like that, just impossible.

Their brains are designed to notice secondary sex characteristics of females. I don't blame them for that.

I don't mind them noticing. It's only human nature. They should keep their thoughts to themselves though.

@Pipandmum Are you sure you're a 38C? As in, your ribcage measures 38inches and your boobs 3 inches?

(I ask because three inches would not bounce VERY much, not because there's anything wrong with being that size. But your description makes me thing you might be wearing the wrong size and are somewhere around a 34E or 32F/F : booborbust.com/ )

Last time I measured I was 34D but that was years ago. I still have a couple of bras that size but rarely use them. Just have a crop top for exercise.
I don't understand the push-up things that press the boobs together with just a slit between them. They look so unnatural and must be really uncomfortable.
As for the friend who commented, ALL men check out women's bodies. I check out men's bodies, does that make me a pervert? The wrong bit is making the comments.

I think some posters on here are being disingenuous and naive about men (and women) noticing whether other women are wearing a bra or not. Most of us have the social awareness and manners not to mention it.

It doesn't affect me

I don't wear a bra around my husband. But if I know someone's going to see, I will. A woman once ridiculed me for not wearing one (I'm a 32 A and it was a halter neck, then...it RAINED 😩). The shame has stuck with me.

Of course, in Victorian times posters would be noting that men naturally checked out ankles and knees.
