To ask about contact lenses and acrylic nails?

So I always wear acrylic nails- my fingers feel naked without them now! They aren't super long and pointy but they're a medium length always coffin shape.

I'm stating to consider wearing contact lenses instead of glasses- but I'm a little nervous about taking them out! Does anyone have any advice on this? Is it doable or am I totally bonkers

It is very doable. The contact lense goes on the pad of your finger to insert and remove so you can easily insert without poking yourself in the eye it's just a matter of practice

As previous poster said, it’s very easy. I have long coffin shaped acrylics and have no problems. There are YouTube videos you can watch on how to do it

I keep my nails very short as a contact lense wearer and I’d image longer nails would make taking them out more difficult. Also acrylic nails harbour more germs than short natural nails and although you give your hand a good wash, I wouldn’t want them near my eyes.
