To want to know if nursery are opening in September?

My child is registered at a local term time nursery (not school nursery). They closed with Covid as felt they couldn't safely remain open and the building owners were going to use the time to do some property maintenance. And then obviously they have been closed for the summer holidays as they would usually be.

But we're halfway through August and I haven't heard anything from them? I don't know for sure if they are definitely reopening, what the start date of the new term is, any changes etc.

I emailed the manager on the 5th, put a message on the app last week and nothing. Had everyone else heard from their nurseries? Am I being unreasonable to want to know what's going on?

Ours reopened on 1st June. Strange for yours not to have communicated with parent yet..

Our local nurseries used to be listed on local council website for childcare, although it was some time ago when I needed to look for DS so don’t know whether they still do that.
