Animal Willy's

I will probably be outed as not many people would have such silly and annoying thoughts. I've always been a particular person and felt weird about eggs being periods or fetus and milk coming out of udders etc I've always been surprised that I'm not fussier with meat but put the thought out my mind and rudely rolled my eyes at vegans etc then just over a week ago i had this realisation that the animals we eat once walked round with willy's and that's it I've stopped eating meat it's completely put me off! Of course animals have willy's and I know we don't eat them but the thought of their slimey willy's has just put me completely off!! I want to want meat!! On holiday the meat is amazing I can't make the most of the 50% restaurant offers because who wants to go for a salad?! It's so restricting now!! I'm not pregnant. Has this ever happened to anyone? I'm feeling weird about milk in cheese etc but I've got to eat something else ill be surviving on thin air!! I don't like vegetables apart from peas so I'm getting limited on food, I've brought lentils etc. Has anyone had this before? I know I sound ridiculous but why have i gone off meat??!!! It's sad I used to love chicken and the thought if the taste I like but I feel like the social side of holidays, eating dinner at night and enjoying all food has been taken away because I don't want to pick the veggie option I don't even like veggies!!

@AwkwardPaws27

You can eat chicken, chickens don't have a willy. They have a cloaca, which is nothing like a penis in appearance. Also, if you want to eat other types of meat, try going for a recognisable cut - ie a leg of lamb is definitely not going to have a willy on it Wink
I think it is the fact that the owner of the limb once was possessed of a penis?

Soya is a fairly good meat substitute @Idontknow23..Or Quorn.. Qourn mince can be really nice , as are quorn sausages..

I really feel icky about animal willies. I love cats but I wouldn't have a male cat (or dog) because I'd just hate to accidentally see its willy - urgh.

I'm not actually veggie (though in practice I mostly am because my teenager is) but I do think it's not that irrational to have these thoughts and feel weird about meat. Although it is part of our evolutionary history for us to eat animals, it's also very human to care about animals and most of us couldn't do the killing and would find it upsetting - so eating meat is hypocritical on one level.

As PP's have said there are so many veggie and vegan foods you can eat - not just things like pasta, beans, lentils, tofu, pizza etc but also loads of specially made meat alternatives - quorn is very like chicken if you have it in a curry or stir fry, you can get lovely veggie sausages, burgers etc. Also try some new vegetables and you might find some you like.

And *oakleaffy" when people talk about dogs' "lipstick" it's even worse! Angry

Idontknow23 · 17/08/2020 16:53

Omg who posted the photo of the cow with a big ding dong that's exactly the image haha, I think the pink slimey willy idea come from when dogs have them sticking out haha. I know I have always thought weird stuff about things but I am pretty normal and I just thought if everyone thought deep down about these things they would get funny about it too, hopefully I will just block out the thoughts again as I'm sure that's what most of us do. I don't think I have a disorder maybe I'm just highly sensitive to things, I don't walk around franticly cleaning or washing my hands, I've just got the ick about meat and have always felt like that about eggs but tried not to let it take over. I will definately be able to eat a varied diet if I thought thought about spiders which I hate crawling on salad I couldnt eat that either but that's where I sort of know I haven't got a problem because I know I just need to pull myself together else I won't eat anything! The milk puss is gross so I'm gonna believe the comments that say it's not in there haha. I suppose I do think differently about things in general. I just want to be normal and eat meat it's just the wilies swinging about in a field and then me taking a big bite out of its body in the form of a pork chop 😩 I'm not frigid or a lesbian either

😆 Sorry OP but you sound bonkers. In a way I know you’re my type of person bonkers. I’ve nothing constructive to say except maybe don’t change. Your posts have made me laugh tonight! 🤣

Anything that puts people off eating animals is a good thing in my book.

Mistymonday · 18/08/2020 13:04

I always thought it was pretty sick cooking a baby (veal) with a sauce made from its mother’s milk.

There are loads of good meat substitutes in supermarkets, entirely free of animal bits, you don’t have to miss out. Also there are puss-free dairy equivalents made from plants, even squirty cream!
