i am 20 days late for my period i’m NEVER this late i could be a few days late sometimes but never over a week late and i’m nearly 3 weeks late i took a pregnancy test today and it said negative i’m not on any contraceptive as i’m been trying to get pregnant, i’m currently waiting till my next period is due which is the end of the month but i’m too impatient and want advice

20 days is a long time but tests are usually pretty accurate as well. Maybe try another one to be sure that one wasn't damaged or something?

If you are sexually active then yes you could be pregnant.

If you are concerned then see a doctor.

I’m in the same boat OP but I have PCOS and that can give you false negatives apparently. Have you got PCOS?

@Lockheart i’m currently waiting till my next period should be due at the end of the month and if i don’t start then yes i’m going to go see a doctor

I don't think anyone here can confirm a pregnancy for you unfortunately. Best thing to do is take another test and go from there.

I think if you have skipped a period completely you might want to investigate that with a medical professional and not a bunch of people on the internet. I agree with @Lockheart, it's pretty simple if you are having sex you could be pregnant.
