AIBU to want some clarification (quarantine)

I live outside the UK and come to the UK for work. I live in a country with a really good handle on the coronavirus. We would have an air bridge but we won’t reciprocate the offer
So. I think I can come without quarantine as I am providing specialist skills providing an essential service that results in a good.
But. What if I’m wrong.
I can’t find any extra clarification. I cat plan my work trip without knowing, if I don’t come I will lose my job.
I feel stressed and unsupported by my husband.
I could just come for longer, but I don’t really want to leave my kids longer than I have to.

Your employer should be the one informing you of the current rules. As far as I'm aware they don't fast track essential workers from outside the country.

The rules change every five minutes, so I understand your confusion and worry.
