I'm in my 30s and I've never been anywhere on my own overnight.
I really want a night away somewhere.
I've never been to London in over 16 years.
I really want to go for 2 days /1 night and just do some sightseeing /shopping
Would I be a looser to go alone?
I've found a return fare from Newcastle for £30 and hotel for £59 (copthorne Tara)
Do I just go ?
Would you go?
Is this a bad time due to covid ?

When I was a young woman people sitting in places like pubs, restaurants and so on sometimes said they felt conspicuous. They felt they were being judged because they had no partner or companion. Time has taught me that people are too busy getting on with their own affairs to wonder why I am eating or sitting in a pub alone. In the early days I always took a book to read. Now there are all these smart phones and tablets. So being on your own, having something to do, and not feeling conspicuous is easy peasy.
