Has your marriage survived lies?

Together 8 years, 2 dcs, a toddler and a baby. Loads has gone wrong in last few years. We are doing counselling together it is helping but dh tells loads of lies, small and big including about me to his family. I am devastated. He never admits them easily, usually catches himself out later and then doesnt apologise. Has anyone moved forward with a liar and if so how? I am going to raise this at next marriage counselling session.

Depends on the lie.

Forgetting to take something to the dry ceaners and spraying with Febreze instead then passing it off is a lie, but fine in my book.
My Oh lies quite a bit, but almost never gets away with- like pretending something is out of stock in the supermarket when in fact he has forgotten, his bad lying is a bit of a running joke.
