Last week I noticed my 8 year old smelt of BO a little, but put it down to the exceptionally hot weather and she hadn’t showered that day (but had the day before). I’ve noticed it again today and it’s not particularly hot but she has been active. Again she didn’t shower last night but did the night before so I think a gentle deoderant is needed now 😢

I like these

Not the cheapest but they do last quite a while

Scrubbingtons do a kids deodorant. Not tried it but I love their bath and hand stuff

My 8 ye old ds uses moo goo all natural roll on deodorant and it works really well. He was always quite pongy by afternoon (despite showering with soap every morning) but since using this he doesn't smell at all.

From my experience of trying to get my 8 year old Dd to use one, go for the one with the prettiest label.

(DD has the pink sure one.)

I bought this one for my 9 year old and he’s getting on great with it.

Haha yep, getting her to actually use it may be a challenge!

And if you have a chat about changing bodies etc it might be an idea to warn her best friends mum Blush

PinkiOcelot · 15/08/2020 19:43

I would buy a roll on for her. Soft and Gentle do some nice smelling ones.

The dove cream sticks are really nice and gentle and work really well.
There's a great book that you could get her about changing bodies. It's called something like 'what's happening to me'. There's a boy version and a girl version
