I would post in style but really need a lot of responses as I'm fed up.
I'm late thirties. Size 10-12. I have a horrible stomach from excess skin since having DD many years ago. Over the last year or so my stomach has got worse. Even when I've lost weight, it still doesn't shift the fat/loose skin on my abdomen. I've just lost a pregnancy (at 10 weeks) and having been borrowing DP's trousers (tracksuit bottoms) since I found out I was pregnant, I'm still wearing them now as they're now the only trousers I can comfortably wear.
Anything that does up over my navel is hugely uncomfortable to the point I get stomach ache and feel sick. Even stretchy trousers are sore. Jeans are absolutely a no-go. I wear DP's trousers as hipsters and they're the only way I can wear them. I tend to wear dresses where possible, but that's not really feasible in the pouring rain when it isn't too cold (like this weekend).
We've got a family event today and again I'm stuck in tracksuit bottoms, feeling fed up and miserable. The only other trousers I wear are a pair of stretchy yoga pants from Bali which look very hippy-like.
I have fibroids (small ones) - I don't know if that makes my stomach size worse.
I'm so fed up today. I hate shopping at the best of times as I look at my body in a changing room and just want to cry. I can't even try things on now with Covid but I can't wear DP's trousers forever.
Does anyone have similar issues? Are there comfortable hipster trousers for women with awful stomachs? I've held off buying leggings and a tunic top since I'm still only in my thirties and feel like that's just something to wear when I'm old (no offence intended). What the hell can I wear? Are there any shops that offer nice trousers that would actually fit me?
Or are there any diets which would target the abdominal fat/skin/flab and let me lose inches from my abdomen? I work our about three times a week but nothing seems to help.
Posting here for traffic in the hope someone can assist!
