My dad wanted an iphone watch for a very long time but just couldn't afford it. I have been looking out for any sale and came across one. Although still a bit expensive I thought I may not find one with this price again.

I was going on about it again and I told him I got him one. He asked me what colour it is and I said white.. he said I wish it was black I wanted black.. then he said which model so I told him and he aid he wanted the latest one.

So I'm thinking sod it! Ungrateful. I will give it to my teenage cousin instead who I'm sure will be grateful for it.!

Am I right to feel annoyed? Feels like I just wasted money.

He could get a protective case for his watch which will make it look black:

Also if you paid a reasonable price for it, you should be able to resell and get most of your money back

Don't bloody buy him another one or a cover! They're not cheap items and he was incredibly rude. He could have brought his own cover.

My mother is like this. I just bought her a birthday gift that I put thought into, spent a lot of money, and thought she would really like. She did nothing but complain. I shouldn't have bothered and to be honest I knew that because she is generally pretty miserable. From now on it will be a box of chocolates or a plant from the supermarket.

I think most blokes would prefer a black watch to white. Sorry OP!

I was under the impression it was a new one you bought not a second hand one, now it all makes sense.
