Does anyone work in a bank?

I have an old bank account that my child benefit (I think it's that, the £80 a month you receive) lands in. However, I don't use it so thought ah, well I'll let it build up. After working it out I should have a nice lump sum in there but here's my issue.

I've lost the bank card.
Locked out the online banking and can't remember any details.
Moved house.

If I go to the bank with my passport and drivers licence will they let me reset my online log in?

I've looked for a utility bill in my name but they're all on my partners name.

I work in a Building Society so slightly different but as long as your correct address is on your driving licence, we'd accept that AND your passport to transact any account as long as you also passed DPA questions as that's proof of person AND proof of address. We're a bit old fashioned though.

Not sure about resetting online accounts. Sorry 🤷‍♀️ x

Yes, at the bank I work for we could reset your online banking just using your drivers licence and probably a security question such as DOB.

If you know your old postcode that would help then find you faster but even if you don't they will still find you, it just depends on how common your name was to how fast it would be :-)
