Human behaviour hasn't changed much since 1918, same sort of arguments for and against and same resentment on both sides. Fascinating!

I agree I think history repeats it self over and over again yet some how human behaviour remains the same. Makes me wonder have we ever truly evolved to a place where the establishments act to our concerns and not to an agenda, and do we as humans need to focus on unity the separation within society.

Great article! Human nature seems to be to think we are the first to have ever experienced anything when in fact that is very raretly the case.

@AriettyHomily Absoluteley! It's one of the most frustrating things about getting older. So, so many people announcing ideas or experiences as 'totally new', when I've seen them many times before. I now understand my GM's sighs from when I was younger.

Pretty sure it's the same that happened with the Pomanders in the middle ages, where they believed the sweet smell mitigated the germs
