I have a recollection of a song that I cannot work out what is was. After hours of googling, I’m hoping to harness the Mumsnet hive mind. This is what I can remember:
It was on the Radio 2 breakfast playlist sometime between September 2014 and end of 2015. Seemed to be played constantly!
It was a male/female duet. I think it had quite a folky feel. Possibly fairly well known singers that had collaborated. I thought it was Alison Moyet, but can’t find any reference to her doing a duet.
It had a plodding beat and I’m sure something about honey & bees (sorry my memory is terrible!). When I try and remember it I always end up humming ‘leg bone connected to the hip bone’ dry bones song - I’m sure it had similar sort of feel to it!
Sorry for the very vague description, but hoping someone might recognise what I’m on about! Driving me nuts that I can’t remember.
