Sorry I've not worded it very well, but every year everything is brand new for the return to school.
Usually I get everything brand new, including new pencil case, pens etc and new bag.
This year I've done it a bit more half heartedly.
I've not bought DD a new school bag, pencil case and contents. Ive bought new skirts and shirts, and socks, and shoes and had to buy a new blazer as shes outgrown last years but it's not been the same mission as it usually is.
Has anyone else felt the same?
I've made sure that DD is ok, but havent gone to great expense with ensuring all is perfect, as theres so much uncertainty around with how much time they'll even be at school.
Not particularly worried to be honest, but did wonder if this is what other parents are feeling.
