To everyone trying to sleep with this heat tonight. Feels like a sauna and that's with all the windows open in my bedroom

I have my windows open and my fan on full. It's pointing at me, but when DP comes to bed he'll want it off because of the noise. I'll wait till he's snoring, then turn it back on.

I’m almost wringing wet and can’t face going to bed, despite two fans in the bedroom!

I’m actually quite cool now with the fan directly on me . Amazing really as an hour ago I was sweating in places I didn’t know you could sweat 😂

If there was a breeze from the open window I’d be fine...but there’s nothing!!

I cant leave windows open as there has been a proliferation of mozzies lately they somehow all got in the other day and there was a SWARM of them on the ceiling !!!! I literally screamed! Then hoovered them up!

If I don't think about it then I am ok.

Think about poor me living alone in a ground floor flat with no option to leave a window open 😞.

It's pretty cool here for August; it's 87°, which I think you'd call about 31°. But A/C is the norm here. Y'all should look into portable A/C units.

This has been the first night - since either I was a teen or had very young children who kept me up all night - that I have had literally NO sleep. And I am lying in front of a fan.

Tomorrow today will be fun...
