Woke up this morning with a really scratchy throat and runny bose, I'm constantly sneezing and feel like I've been hit by a bus I'm knackered. Before anyone comes at me with coronavirus, its not, I've no cough or fever and have had a sore throat for a month on and off due to hayfever

Yes! Def not Covid for me as we’ve been in total isolation for three weeks.

Bargebill19 · 11/08/2020 12:24

No and my asthma is so much better this year - it’s an odd but fabulous win for me.

I am really struggling today. Take two antihistamines and not touching it. Resorted to closing the living room windows and putting Vaseline around my nose and eyes lol.

SunInTheSkyYouKnowHowIFeel · 11/08/2020 12:33

Yes mine was, but antihistimines sorted it out now. Hope you feel better soon, hayfever is awful.

Rafflesway · 11/08/2020 12:35

Yes definitely!

Just after I took my morning shower I suddenly felt as if I had been stabbed in the eye. Thought initially it was shampoo but no. Flaming hay fever!

2 minutes afterwards my eyes and nose were streaming. Anti histamines are keeping it at bay at present but a long time since my usually mild hay fever has affected me so badly.

ConfusedBec · 11/08/2020 12:37

I feel like I have the flu, minus the cough as to top all my hayfever symptoms off I'm having a migraine attack

If you look on the met Office website it gives a pollen count forecast and it does say high today!

PollyPelargonium52 · 11/08/2020 12:43

Mine has been most days since April!

ParadiseLaundry · 11/08/2020 13:00

I don't even have hay fever and I'm suffering with all the symptoms today so yes!

AriettyHomily · 11/08/2020 13:03

Yes but it was exceptionally muggy here this morning and cloudy, it always makes mine worse. My theory is all he pollen gets trapped under the clouds.

ConfusedBec · 11/08/2020 13:06

We had terential rain last night and several thunder storms so I think rhis has made the grass pollen really bad today even though the suns cracking the flags all day today

I was just telling my friend that I'm finding today really hard, she is too. So it does seem to be very high.
