To ask for a FIRM mattress recommendations - budget around £150

Any recommendations for a firm double mattress under £150 please ? It’s just for 6-8 months. We are temporarily with inlaws. (This mattress is quite soft and bouncy- giving DH backaches and inlaws want to keep their mattress)

For that small a budget I’d say Ikea or though even there you will struggle to get one that cheap

Having just bought a double mattress, you're going to struggle to get one that stays firm on that budget.
Have you tried something like a firm piece of wood under the mattress?
Otherwise I'd say the best bet is for dh to get a single and sleep on the floor next to you.

I would say IKEA too.

that should meet the brief. I doubt it would be brilliant long term but should be fine for a few months.

I have a different IKEA one and it's great,
