It’s become an obsession since ruining three pairs of trainers and I’ve had four lots delivered and none of them are right. I know there are bigger things going on in the world right now but HELP. I need a pair that I can step in and step out without touching

Hunter make a version called 'Huntress' that are designed for wider calves and are a bit shorter than regular Hunters. My calves aren't particularly wide, but they are a comfy fit and I found these came off just like you want them to!

Green Dunlop wellies . They’re about 10-15 quid and will last years . Easy to get on and off too .

A couple of years ago I got a pair of ankle high wellies from Sainsburies. Absolutely fabulous! Could slip them on and off easily.

I have an assortment but I love my Town & Country premium ones the best.

I have a pair of dickies landmasters that I love for this reason. They are also super comfy for tramping round the countryside in. The sole degrades after several years though (probably 5-7 for me but I haven't bought a pair for several years)

I have short Hunter wellies but the old ones before they got trendy.

ASDA.

I'm a dog walker and can walk 10k in mine with no issues. They were £6 and have lasted me over a year with no issues whatsoever - they look as a good as new and are super comfortable.
