To ask if 34,000 is a good salary for a publicity manager?

I'm considering moving from my current publicity manager job and applying for a new publicity manager job for an even larger (my current company is extremely big) company. Part of my current job involves dealing with press/media and journalist enquiries, that would be the same in the new job. Another thing that would be the same is that I would be handling PR and publicity projects/activations. All for 34,000 on an annual basis.

Sounds good unless you are in London.

Yes that’s about right, unless you’re in London when I’d be looking at 38/40.

BYGIDAFY · 09/08/2020 11:45

What’s your current salary?

Circustime · 09/08/2020 11:46

Its in Manchester but handling UK publicity and PR for a multi national corporation. I thought it sounded about right but just wanted to check.

@BYGIDAFY

What’s your current salary?
32,000 but paid less compared to the rest of the department. I had been there for the least amount of time.

I think I'm going to apply for it.
