To ask for best lunch ideas.. sandwiches and anything cold

Start a new job on Monday and will be taking lunches, I get 30 mins for lunch but I have to get changed to access any facilities and they're a decent walk away so no point. Apparently the queue for the microwave is horrendous so I need something I can take and eat cold, although saying that I don't mind left overs cold.

So hit me with the most amazing sandwiches you have ever had that I can recreate!

My favorite is a wrap. You grate boiled beetroot, raw carrot and mature (or extra mature) cheddar and mix together. Add some mayonnaise or some salad dressing (a creamy one for preference) then roll up the wrap.

Bacon or sausage kept warm in a thermos food flask.

Or the king of sandwiches - salt and vinegar crisps with HP fruity sauce

Grated cheese and chopped grapes mixed with mayo.
Cheese and pickle.
Ham salad.

My favorite is vegetable fingers with as much salad as I can hold between 2 slices of bread - sliced beetroot and tinned sweetcorn are a must. But I tend to use so much salad it gets messy Grin. Also not sure how nice it would be cold!

Grilled halumi, zucchini, lettuce and pesto.

Alternatively roast some veggies like sweet potato & pumpkin the night before, chuck in a container with some tinned chickpeas, sliced snow peas, add some baby spinach and put some balsamic dressing in a container and tip in just before you eat it.

Remember to take cutlery!

My favourite summer lunchbox

Grated apple, grated carrot, handful of walnuts and dried fruit, olive oil, cider vinegar, pepper. Mix well.

Delicious & filling Smile

Take cous-cous salad in a plastic box, add things like olives, diced cucumber, sliced radish, cherry tomatoes, tuna, diced ham, raisins, etc etc.
Mixed bean salad is filling, add things like diced ham or chicken, cold sausage, tomatoes, sweet corn.

Onion bhajis sliced up in some nice bread with mango chutney, iceberg lettuce and a bit of mayo is delicious.
