A faint line is still a positive, unless it's a blue dye test and there's a grey 'shadow' where the line should be and you're confusing that with a faint line. Red dye is better because it's easier to see the difference. Can you take a photo and zoom in on the line to see what colour it is?

Select the paperclip icon underneath the text box!

sarah058 · 06/08/2020 20:42

@TheVamoosh it’s a red dye one but it’s a cheap pregnancy test and they isn’t a paper clip icon but the line was extremely faint was deffo a line tho

If you had a faint positive followed by a negative 2 days later then unfortunately it is probably more likely that you saw an evap/false negative in the first test.

If you wait for another few days you could potentially do a Clearblue digital with weeks indicator. It's very sensitive and should give you a clear answer.

Fingers crossed for you.

@Curiosity101. i’m due on at the end of each month so if i’m not on at the end of this month i’m going to get a clear blue one, thankyou

No one on the internet can tell you if you're pregnant or not.

You need to either wait a day or two and take another test or see your doctor.

i know that i just wanted advice @Lockheart

I had a similar situation. It was a chemical.

Wait a week and if no period then take another test.

sarah058 · 06/08/2020 22:46

@LaurieMarlow. ok thankyou

Just going thought this myself. Unfortunately if you're sure of date of conception/ period due and the line is really faint then in all honesty it's probably a chemical pregnancy / very early miscarriage. I'm on 4 mc now (2 cp, 2mmc) so they're referring me so best to log with GP in case it happens again but luckily most women go on to have normal pregnancies after and they're unfortunately very common. If it is yiu will get period as normal in few days. Hope you're ok. It's crap as get hopes up X

@Jeds55. sorry to hear this thankyou anyway x
